OPY.

Sir,

385

Hongkong, 11th. November, 1911.

REGE 8 APR 12

Referring to this morning's interview with His Excel- -lency the Governor, I have the honour to lay before you a general outline of the suggestions made by Sir Paul Chater and myself.

The areas and valuations are approximate only, but will

doubtless suffice as a basis for discussion.

As regards the 60/0 strip and the Wharf Company's vacant ground at the corner, if Government desires to acquire these areas we think they can be included in the negotiations.

I have etc.,

(Sd.) Edward Osborne.
